Forest School Programme Leadership (Open College Network West Midlands)

Part 1: October 30th - November 3rd, 2015

Part 2: March 21st to March 24th, 2016

Both parts 1 and 2 of the training must be completed together.

Training will be held in Hollywood, Co. Wicklow, 30 mins south from Tallaght on the N81.

Approved by the Forest School Association and awarded by the Open College Network (OCN) West Midland Region. This Level 3 Certificate in Forest School Programme Leadership (QCF) provides the knowledge, understanding and skills needed to prepare learners to plan and lead Forest School programmes as a Forest School Leader.Marina knots

What is Forest School?

Forest School is an inspirational process, that offers ALL learners regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences in a woodland or natural environment with trees.

Forest School is a specialised learning approach that sits within and compliments imagethe wider context of outdoor and woodland education.

COST: €1,200 + First Aid training

TO BOOK: Click the “Book Now” button and an email will be sent to you with a booking form you need to fill in. A deposit of €200 is required to confirm a place on the course.

In order to get the most from this professional training, you must have at least two years considerable experience working with groups, preferably children.

IMG_4049FIRST AID:  First Aid Training, is offered by First Aid For Life for a special group rate of €110 and is organised for you by Earth Force Education. The course on offer is Remote Emergency Care 2 (REC2) and will be held on March 5th and 6th, although you may choose to do it elsewhere or may have this already.

Occupational First Aid does not have the required remote emergency care components, REC2 meets all your requirements for your Level 3 cert for Forest School Programme Leadership.
