Art of Mentoring Weekend for Tracking, Nature Connection & Bushcraft, 14-18 Aug
This camp promises to be a lot of fun as well as informative! From 14th to 18th August, you will have lots of hands-on experience to help integrate great nature awareness routines you can practice every day.
WHAT: Building on the principles of the Art of Mentoring, we will practice tried and loved core routines, that bring nature awareness into our every day lives, deepening curiosity and our knowledge of the natural world in which we can track our wild soul.
Includes Bushcraft and Survival Living, Tracking Games, Voices of the Birds, Art of Invisibility, Mapping, Exploring, Sit Spot, Storytelling, Animal Forms, Sensory Awareness, Inner Tracking, Thanksgiving, Wildlife Tracking.
WHEN: Weds 14th from 6pm to Sat 17th Aug, 5pm.
WHERE: Castleruddery Organic Farm, near Donard, Co. Wicklow
WHY: For those who want to practice the core routines of nature connection that bring about profound connections to all living things.
WHO: For anyone inspired by: nature awareness, bushcraft, birds, environmental education, wood crafts, permaculture. For adults, parents, grandparents and anyone who loves and is inspired by time in nature.
Greg Sommer, US Tracker and Naturalist, works internationally with wilderness schools from the UK to Germany, Sweden and the US including Jon Young’s Native Eyes lead instructor.

HOW: Camping for three nights in a beautiful woodland beside the River Slaney, Co. Wicklow. Bring food to share so we can make group meals.
