DIRECTIONS TO CASTLERUDDERY ORGANIC FARM, NR. DONARD, CO. WICKLOW.

Google Maps:

Search for Castleruddery Lower on Google maps http://maps.google.ie/ . Coming from M50, take the N81 south at Exit 11 for Tallaght. You travel through Blessington, en route to Baltinglass.

Driving to Castleruddery Organic Farm…

From Dublin: take the M50 then take exit 11 at Tallaght, going South on the N81, direction Blessington/Baltinglass.

Driving from Dublin/Blessington direction on the N81:

Take the N81 South, continue passed the turn for Donard. Continue along the N81 until you turn left at the sign post for “Dwyer McAllister Cottage”, Glen of Imaal and “Castleruddery Stone Circle”. Follow that along and go up a steep hill, passing a timber yard on your left and then Castleruddery Stone Circle on your right. Continue on until you reach a crossroads where there is a shop with petrol pumps. Turn right at the crossroads which takes you downhill about 100m, and the Organic Farm is on the right with a GMO free sign.

Driving along the N81 from the south:

Five miles North of Baltinglass on the N81, take the turn signposted “Dwyer McAllister Cottage”, Glen of Imaal and “Castleruddery Stone Circle”.  You pass an old petrol station, and go up a steep hill, passing a timber yard and the Stone Circle on your right.  Continue on until you reach a crossroads where there is a shop with petrol pumps. Take the right at the crossroads. About 150m downhill, the Organic Farm is on the right.

Public Transport from Dublin:
From Dublin Busarus Bus Station. Buy ticket for Annalecky Cross ( bus can be Tullow/Waterford or New Ross) Approx. 10 miles after Blessington Get off bus at Annaleckey Cross at The Olde Toll House pub. 11 km from Castleruddery Lwr.

Taxi:

If you don’t have a car or are arriving late you will need to prebook a taxi with Dermot Allen 059-6482222 or 087-2516623 to bring you to the Farm from the bus stop.

When you arrive at the Farm, please park bearing in mind that this is a working farm. We circle up in the yard at 10am. The Organic fruit and veg shop is open Thursday and Friday from 9am until 6pm if you want to get some good organic food.

    Hi I would to visit your shop and I am just confirming that you will be open thursday between 2pm & 3pm and could you tell me please are you ever open at weekends at all. Kind regards Jan

      Hi Jan,
      The farm shop is open Thurs and Fri every week from 9am-6pm. If you would like to buy the farms delicious produce at the weekends, you can go to Naas Farmers Market and their regular stall there.
